First, turn the television off! Second, find a book, Nook or Kindle, and a comfy chair. If you’re a fiction fan, dive into a story and make the adventure yours. If non-fiction is your preference, exercise your brain, then apply what you learn in real life.
The funny thing about being a writer is that I have a hard time reading strictly for enjoyment. My internal editor won’t shutdown. I’ve read (or re-read) many books over the past few years, but these are the works I’ve enjoyed enough to share.
